Strategic
The Foundation’s mission to address generational poverty is reflected in its decision making around Strategic Grants. These grants are to comprehensively work with organizations to affect organizational and community impact at multiple levels. The Foundation views Strategic Grants as a partnership with each grantee to enhance results, maximize resources and to insure that measurable change occurs. The Foundation focuses on three broad categories of health, education and social services and will only consider applicants from the state of South Carolina.
While the Foundation does not place a specific limit on funds requested, all requests submitted for consideration by the Foundation will be viewed in proportion to funds available for Foundation grants. Grant award amounts will vary depending on each funding proposal.
Potential applicants should review the mission and focus of the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina. If there is an appropriate match, the applicant should complete a pre-application form. Pre-applications must be completed and submitted by the first Tuesday in March: online applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on March 6, 2012.
