"Thank you and your entire organization for providing the Learning Academy as a way for nonprofit organizations in South Carolina to build their capacity and learn skills unique to the nonprofit field.

Our organization has participated in two workshops this summer, both of which were absolutely amazing. They were exceptionally well organized, the speaker was "right on" and the materials provided were tremendously helpful. Not only have these two workshops been the best two workshops I've attended since entering the nonprofit field, but their quality and usefulness has exceeded every paid workshop I've been a part of.

I hope your organization will continue to offer this phenomenal resource."

"Sisters of Charity is such a wonderful advocate for nonprofits in South Carolina and provides excellent support and technical assistance.

I really enjoyed the workshop. It was a much needed refresher and reminder of what we should be doing but are NOT doing to nurture our existing partnerships and in starting new ones. The workshop reminded me that to be successful and build lasting partnerships we need to be working these tasks into our annual plans.

As a great outcome, I made a contact during the workshop, and we began discussion about a future partnership. The workshop helped me think more critically about what we could offer and what we would need to really build the partnership and develop a program."

"As a beginning grant writer, the information presented was so valuable and there were so many great suggestions made by both Schrendria and other class participants. I think the most important thing I took away from the class is that I CAN submit a grant application and get a grant! So much of the "mystery" of grant writing was discussed and I am now confident that I can complete the process successfully!

Thanks to the Sisters of Charity for making this program available free of charge, for providing a nice place for us to get together and also for lunch.  This was truly a blessing for us all. Thank you for a wonderful experience, the opportunity to help our food pantry and for offering such needed educational opportunities."
