Caritas Fund
The Caritas Fund, which provides outreach services and linkages to the poor and marginalized, will award up to $3,000 for a one-year period. These grants are designed for organizations with an annual budget of less than $250,000. Applications are due by the first Tuesday in September: online applications are due by 11:59 p.m., mailed applications must be post marked September 2, 2008 and hand delivered applications must reach the Foundation office by 5 p.m.

Responsive Grant
Responsive Grants, designed to address the root causes of poverty, will be awarded in the spring. Grant award amounts will vary depending on the requirements of each funding proposal. Pre-applications must be completed and submitted by by the first Tuesday in April: online applications are due by 11:59 p.m., mailed applications must be post marked April 1, 2008 and hand delivered applications must reach the Foundation office by 5 p.m.

Collaboration for Ministry Initiative (CMI) Grants
CMI grants support women religious in their efforts with the poor and underserved members of society. There are three types of CMI grants: Planning, Implementation and Direct Service grants.

Applications are due by the first Friday in June (June 6, 2008): online applications are due by 11:59 p.m.; all other applications must reach the Foundation office by 5 p.m. on June 6. This means mailed applications must be received by June 6 (not post marked).
