The following organizations have received funding for after school programs. Totaling over one million dollars, these four grants will be distributed over the course of three years. The Foundation aims to develop a model for future programs and strategic funding of after school programs.
By reaching into rural communities with few resources, the Foundation intends to fund programs that address all aspects of a child's development and provide safe haven for recreational and educational activities. Designed to help children and youth in grades 1-5, the children participating live at or below poverty level.
