Tom Keith is the President of the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina; a position he has held since March of 1996.
In this position he oversees the operations of the Foundation and assists the Foundation Board of Trustees in setting policies and goals. Mr. Keith is active in establishing partnerships and coalitions with other organizations and community groups.
Mr. Keith serves on the Healthy Learners and the Southeastern Council of Foundations boards, as chairman of the South Carolina Center for Grassroots and Non-Profit Leadership and is a member of Grantmakers in Health. He is a founding member and former chairman of the South Carolina Grantmakers Network, a group of 40 grantmaking foundations from across the state. In 2007, Mr. Keith was appointed by Supreme Court Chief Justice Jean Hoefer Toal to serve on the South Carolina Access to Justice Commission.
Mr. Keith has over 30 years experience in non-profit management in five states. He earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in communications from Marshall University and a master’s in business administration from Winthrop University.
